Family is Master Ship Builders, now Shipping Company owning 41 % of the Ships in Palanthas
Schooling in High Sorcery in New Ports of Abanasinia, as there are no schools set up in Solamnia and Northern Ergoth as of yet. Been at the school for 2 Years, now at home in Palanthus for two months. During your youth in the Age of Mortals, when the Gods were yet again gone, you ran with several youths that were always causing problems and had picked up being able to use Sorcery. After a time, you leaned how to use the long Magic, but soon, you dreamed many times about an old man in Red Robes, that was apart of a order of Wizards that gained their power from the three moons of magic. Those moons are now gone. Your came to find out that it was your Great Grandfather that was a Wizard of High Sorcery in the Dark Times after the First Cataclysm, in the Age of Despair.
He had a sanctuary rumored to be on the property. After the many years under the occupation of the Dark Knights, The reclamation of Palanthas by the Knights of Solamnia after the War of Souls brought you the chance to find this Sanctuary.
After Months of Searching, you finally find it. Inside, you find scrolls, Spellbooks, and items that you knew immediately were magic in nature.
You open your heart to the Gods of Magic, and Lunitari heard the call of your heart.
You went to School in New Ports, and found High Sorcery to be demanding, strict in discipline, and fused your heart and your head fueled by your soul, open to the Red Moon.
You have met aspirant wizards of this time, your generation that had no connection with the Brother of Magic and yet, here you are, all from different backgrounds, but here for the Magic of the Gods.

You have been back home for two months and wondering what you are going to do. You have graduated from the school after only being there two years as you breezed the Tests the school put forth for you. At Twenty One, you are as old as Raistlin Majere was when he took his test of high sorcery. The Pomposity of Palanthus is getting to you now, and you know you can not live this live of snobbery, and bootlicking the Administrator of Palanthus and his Knight of Solamnia lackeys. You are lost for days on end and start to doubt yourself. You devote time to study of the texts your great grandfather and learn all you can.
Your friends that you once ran with are gone, all killed by the Dark Knights, but it is an example that you leaned that the road you were on was self destruction, helped along by the Knights of Takhisis.

Sitting comfortably on an old oak chair, leaning a bit closer to the window in the quiet room he had claimed as his study and quarters, Elraith read from the manual that he had found alongside his grandfathers identification workshop. His mother had sent for him to join the family for dinner downstairs about five minutes ago, which he(for the 3rd day in a row) decided to ignore. For one he wasn't very hungry, and for two he wouldn't allow his concentration be disturbed. Hopefully his parents would understand one day. Before he knew it his mother and father were passing by his locked door saying their goodnights. "goodnight mother, father. Rest well." He said, not even looking up from the page he was reading. He heard them walk away together muttering something too quiet to penetrate the thick ornate door, but he was sure it involved their curiosity as to what exactly he had been doing in there for three days straight. He rubbed his eyes and turned them back to the slightly faded ink on the parchment. As he began to pick up reading where he left off, his head floated closer to the book, His eyes shut and he fell instantly asleep.
The sun had just come up when Elraith opened his eyes and realized that he must have fallen asleep reading again, something he often did since he read a lot of the time. He stood and fixed himself up as best he could, grabbed the manual he was reading, and wandered downstairs to get some bread and wine to eat on the way to the mage ware shop. He had to get the items he found in his grandfathers sanctuary identified, and that was the best place to do it.

Shop By the DM Of course you have been here before. Thirteen years to be exact, even when the Dark Knights were here and you had to endure the scrutiny and death glares from the dark overseers.
It is several rooms over two floors of everything magic. Components, trinkets and baubles that is magical in many ways. A library of scrolls (nothing too great) and spell books of some value, mostly low powered to mid range.
There are some Magical items, very high priced as well as potions and dusts.
There are several mages of the Red and White Robe that work here.

Elraith walks into the shop for the first time in thirteen years, taking a deep breath and letting his eyes re-adjust to the softness of indoor light while he takes a quick look around. Smelling the thick spicy aroma he has grown quite fond of over the years, he smiles to himself as he meanders up to the nearest employee that isnt busy, and asks, "excuse me, could you perhaps identify a few items ive recently come across, or point me in the direction of someone who can?"

By the DM A Young lady in White robes turns around, startled as she was deeply immersed in reading a tome comes back to the real world and looks blankly at you. Her mind catches up to what she heard you say.
“Um, yes, I can help you.” She leads you to a room that is unoccuipied and she walks around a table to stand across from you where there is a chair for your comfort.
You hand her the items and she lays them out before you and she on the table, on a cloth she case placed down.
She explains it will be 12 Steel pieces for the services rendered, even if they turn out to not be magical.
You figured as much, and acquiesce to her terms.
Her hair is dark brown that is done up in a bun. It must be very long. Her eyes are green, and she is extremely beautiful and when she smiles at you just now, she smiled with her eyes a genuine warm smile.
She casts the spell and all of the items glow an aurora of red light that circulates all around the items.
The Warm Marble does not give up its secrets readily, it is a few hours later that Raine, as it turns out, the Wizardess that is helping you, Raine is her name, finds mention of the Warm Marble in a codex of Magical items that Mistress Jenna had copied and left here at her shop while she took the original with her to Wayreth when she departed.
It is a Prison that traps creatures in a demi-plane until they are released again. The magical command word is elusive to her probing, and finally she scribbles out who to talk to at Wayreth in the library.
The Necklace of Adaptation, This chain and knot work designed metal medallion. Raine tells you that the wearer can ignore all sorts of gases that affect creatures through respiration. He can also breathe underwater or even exist in airless space for up to seven days.
“The Key of Silence is an extremely rare find, it has the power to “lock” another individual’s voice to shut off and stay locked until the key is used or Dispel magic is placed on the target. As to how to do that, I’m not sure.”
Raine looks up in a similar codex, ecept this is a encyclopedia of Known Magical Items of Ansalon. She Reads “Ioun Stones: These magical stones always float in the air and must be within 3 feet of their owner to be of any use. When a character first acquires the stones, he must hold each and then release it, so it takes up a circling orbit, whirling and trailing, circling 1d3 feet from his head. Thereafter, the stones must be grasped or netted to separate them their owner. The owner may voluntarily seize and stow the stones (at night, for example) to keep them safe, but he loses the benefits of the stones during that time.
Black Onyx---------Magical Reservoir Battery
Ander Crystal---------------Infravision
Ziose Stone----------------Protection +1 (Good, Lowers Armor Class By one when the stone is activated)
And last is the Brooch of Alchemy. She reads of it’s known qualities as detailed in the Encyclopedia.- “This brooch is made of amethyst that is carved with an alembic pattern. This brooch aids in the identification of potions and their ilk. By placing the brooch into a potion, this brooch gives the owner a percentage (his wisdom + 15) of identifying the potion correctly, or just allows the identifier more obvious clues when tasting. Nefradina's Identifier: This highly valued item is a magical test kit used to identify potions, powders, and other alchemical substances. It consists of a wooden box (typically measuring 1'x 1'x 3') containing an assortment of vials, flasks, and beakers in small, padded compartments. Also in the box is a copy of a text called Nefradina's Codex. This book instructs the owner on how to use the test kit. When the owner wishes to identify a potion, powder, oil, perfume, or similar liquid or powdered magical item, he looks up the substance's characteristics (odor, color, consistency, and so on) in the codex and follows the directions given to create a test mixture by combining a number of ingredients found in the kit. He then adds a drop of the test mixture to the substance he wishes to identify. The resulting effects (changes in color, sparks, smoke, bizarre odors, small explosions, and so forth) are looked up in the codex and the substance is identified through a process of elimination.
She looks up at you and says that all she knows about the items of power that you brought in.

Elraith follows Raine into the room, and sits across from her. He returns her smile, and as she casts her identification spell, he watches intently. Always eager to observe the fine art of magic.. Especially when performed by such an attractive wizardess. While Raine is looking for the information, Elraith takes the time to read some more of the manual he brought with him.
Upon hearing the description of each item, Elraith quickly scribes down the information on the provided paper. When all is collected, he stands up and gives a respectful bow to Raine, bids her farewell and leaves onto the streets of Palanthas. His grandfathers sanctuary is next on the list of places to visit today.

Mabius Majere says: yep, i wanna browse the mage ware shop for scrolls for my spellbook, if there are many useful there, since i have no attack spells yet
DM says: Okay.

Mabius Majere says: poison? some sort of magic? DM says: It is obviously the work or a poison, a dust, or something that was injested, or inserted someway into the body. It could even have been magic DM says: . Mabius Majere says: i see. Mabius Majere says: ill go check my room now DM says: One of them comes with you DM says: to help you"check" Mabius Majere says: i insist on opening the door, and making the first observation Mabius Majere says: if theres trouble, ill let him come in Mabius Majere says: not until then, if i can help it DM says: he tell you to leave the door open so he can see if you are okay Mabius Majere says: i nod Mabius Majere says: and open the door DM says: the room is amiss, but it is empty. the window is open and the grand curtins that once served as your boyhood home is left fluttering in the wind swept night Mabius Majere says: anything missing? DM says: not that you can readibly discern, you find things that you would be instantly looking for. Mabius Majere says: ok, did i leave the window open? DM says: no. Mabius Majere says: ok i let the knight know that DM says: the knight comes in and looks out the window to a nearby tree. DM says: he look around and then goes back to the lead Knight Mabius Majere says: ill go see if theyve found anything else DM says: it become sreadily aparent that they have not and are left lost in face of what seems to be the perfect murder by Knightly standards. They have no motive other then they are rich beyond belief, and the oly surviving releltive is you. DM says: not that they quickly jump to those conclusions, but sort of a flash of what they are thinking. Mabius Majere says: i figured they had me as prime suspect anyway DM says: the life of a mage Mabius Majere says: indeed DM says: so what now? Mabius Majere says: i ask the head knight what the procedure is now? Mabius Majere says: "ive only recently returned from the academy, and i spent the last three nights in my room, studying. not even looking at my parents... barely acknowledging their existance. and now... now theyve got my attention." DM says: we will be back in the morning. There will be a contingent of Knights to stay here to gaurd the bodies untill the inspector arives to question you. Mabius Majere says: i nod, and thank him for the "guards" Mabius Majere says: respectfully of course DM says: to see if you have anything that might help us find the answers we are all seeking. We will question the nabiors to see if they know anything more. DM says: "I am sorry for your loss Young Man, Your father did much for the Knighthood, though it would not be far off to ssay that your father coluded with the Dark Knights when they occupied Palanthus, at least that is the talk, but enough money has supressed that. The shipping company is what takes the Knights on transport, and helps bussiness hee in Palanthus." Mabius Majere says: "indeed, his loss is and will be sorely felt by all , but by me most of all, his son. i never spent enough time with him, but such is the life i chose i supose.." DM says: The Lead knight and most of his Rose companions leave except for those to stand gaurd over the bodies, and at the Enternces of the house Mabius Majere says: i sigh deeply, and tired mostly from the shock but also a bit from being out today, i head to bed after straightening up my room Mabius Majere says: if thats cool DM says: dm note: I am sorry sorry right now for my spelling. DM says: yes, it cool. Mabius Majere says: no problem, i havent ha any issues reading anything yet, a lot of different people have different ways of writing online, so im used to it DM says: cool Mabius Majere says: and youre a damn good DM by the way Mabius Majere says: probly the best ive ever played with DM says: so a long night for your character, though you keep churning it in y7our mind, they may try to implicate you in this. DM says: Oh, thank you DM says: I have had players play with me since 92, and they still play, though life has captuered them. They are my best players, and I have always strove to put them through the wringer. to give my best. Mabius Majere says: yeah it shows DM says: ty Mabius Majere says: yep ye Mabius Majere says: *yep Mabius Majere says: sure, and im well aware of that fact, but i have several witnesses around town that saw me im sure, not only the shopkeeps, but citizens as well, how hard is it to miss a guy in red robes and a red cloak pulling along a horse around the market square? Mabius Majere says: im wondering what causes black blood Mabius Majere says: and i intend on visiting raine as soon as i wake in the morn Mabius Majere says: she may be able to help Mabius Majere says: and hopefully ill get some sympathy from her DM says: Your window is still open and a Owl comes in. DM says: a somewhat large one and sits on your now cleared dresser. DM says: there is a scroll attached. Mabius Majere says: oooh Mabius Majere says: i rub my eyes and stand, stretching Mabius Majere says: walk over to it, and unravel the scroll DM says: The Owl looks around at you. Mabius Majere says: "greetings owl" Mabius Majere says: whats the Scroll say? DM says: The scroll says Elraith uth Nostran, you are rquested to come to the Tower of Wayreth on the seventh day of Fierswelt, the seventh month. (16 days) DM says: To take the Test of High Sorcery. Mabius Majere says: my head spins.. 'im so young!! why would they want me so young?' DM says: A thought comes to you to get the owl a bite of something. DM says: or something Mabius Majere says: ahh, ill grab a chunk of bread from yesterdays trip, it should still be fairly fresh, and hand it to the ol Mabius Majere says: *owl DM says: It seems happy with the treat. Mabius Majere says: it doesnt look ready to leave does it? DM says: well it leaves after resting a while then looks at you, then flies off. Mabius Majere says: good good Mabius Majere says: ok well ill roll up the scroll and put it in my case DM says: what are your plans now? Mabius Majere says: i cant let the knights know im leaving.. if something somehow goes orribly wrong and im kept past the date im due to take my test...well i dont even want to consider it, so im heading out for wayreth today Mabius Majere says: after i do a thing or two Mabius Majere says: i need to hit the mage ware shop first DM says: there is a way to the Sanctuary from your house. It is in a tunnel that leads away and down from your house. Mabius Majere says: when i leave for wayreth ill leave through there DM says: you hear outside your room a blade being pulled. Mabius Majere says: ack, is there a way out of this room other than the door? DM says: no DM says: you begin to think. self preservation is one thing, but your whole family fortune and birthright to being stolen from you and you don't even know why. Mabius Majere says: ill get the words to my cantrip spell ready in my head, raise my staff and open my door DM says: The Knight is laying on the ground, face first. everything is dark again. Mabius Majere says: i can cast the light spell from the scroll right? is it a continual light spell so i can carry the light around with me? DM says: you will have to cast it on something and bring it with you. Mabius Majere says: ill get a steel coin out of my bag Mabius Majere says: and cast it on the coin DM says: fine. You go down stairs.

As Elraiths eyes passed over the text that read "...Son, Elraith,21, (who is a mage,) is also missing, but has not been ruled out as a suspect, but Lord Commissioner of Palanthus has said that the Mage is responsible for more then the Knights are willing to say..." He snorted derisively, and raised his voice a bit over speaking volume, "Responsible for what? i wasnt even there at the time! Trust the knights to blame the mage!! Who cares if hes their son?" Shaking his head he lowered it and clenched his jaw tightly, trying to ready himself for another, probably more difficult day. He checked the rest of the paper for anything else regarding him, and set it down on the table with a sigh. Standing up, he needed to go talk to Lashia about Coryn, and what she thinks the best course of action would be at this point.

The Burial By the DM
At least six generations of Uth Nostrens are buried here. Legacies of many stories, but you are the last of all of these, and now you are in the world by your self.
Lashia, Raine, and Lashia’s Griffon Solvern silently watch over you as you bury your parents and close that part of your life off for you, until you can come back and face your past, but for now, you have to look to the future, your future.
Over the Course of the Day, Lashia tells you that Coryn, the Head of the White Order has been in Contact with Mistress Jenna, the High Wizardess of the Conclave, and both agree that they will hire a investigator to get to the bottom of their murder and task accountants to look into the family records of ownership to help piece together your family fortune.
Lashia tells you she went to the bank and was able to get Two Thousand Steel taken out of the Trust from the Bank of Palanthus and transferred to the Wizard’s Bank also located in town, underground, in the old city. There it will be safe for you.

Elraith was visibly upset by the whole ordeal and burying his parents didnt make anything better.."You have my thanks for everything Mistress Lashia, and you as well, Raine. It would have been very difficult to go through this alone. Other than laying low, what should i do now? I'm sure that murderous bastard was a priest of Hiddukel, and he said something about the knights being corrupt. I think i should look into this. I can't just sit here and do nothing, and i can't concentrate enough to study.. Which bothers me even more... On top of the fact that i have to take my test in little more than two weeks and i dont know if i am ready."
He sighed, shook his head and regained his usual demeanor, painful as it was. He knew being calm and collected was how to get through these sorts of situations, but that was easier said than done.

Choices By the DM
Excerpt from Raine
DM NOTE: A listing of your magical items The Necklace of Adaptation, This chain and knot work designed metal medallion.
The resulting effects
(changes in color, sparks, smoke, bizarre odors, small explosions, and so forth) are looked up in the codex and the substance is identified through a process of elimination.
Story
After taking stock of your life, there are some fundamental choices to be made. How will you be getting to Wayreth? Surely Lashia is not going to act as your personal wayfarer teleportation service for the duration till your test, so what does that leave?
As you look out the window, you can see the Waxing Gibbous Red Moon ascend over the night and onto the Harbor.
It will be High Sanction by the time you are to arrive at Wayreth, and that will only strengthen your connection with the Red Maiden. You look out onto the Harbor and realize that half the ships in the harbor are yours now. Well, you will have to steal what’s yours.
You have only been on a ship once, and you would have to get it out in the next day if you were to do it at all. There would be limited ports you could use, due to the Solamnic navy being reconstituted and don’t want to take any more chances then you have to, but this is to take your test, they at the conclave believes you can do it, your Teacher believes it, or does she since she is here and has helped you to a greater extent?
You ponder this, but it is as Lashia said, the journey there has already begun, the journey…
The Knights you find out later is fighting a Large uprising of Goblins from Lemish and Throtyl and Estwilde. Solanthus has been sacked and that the Goblins were cut off to Planthus by some renegade knight in Caregoth. It’s all completely chaotic, but According to Coryn, the Leader of the Knights of Solamnia, not a knight per see, but a Administrator of the Knighthoods, in charge of them while there is a schism between the knighthoods and the such.
Coryn advisees that the situation with the knights will come to a head whether you are involved or not. The Rouge Knight that saved Palanthus is coming here next to deal with the Administrator. I have a feeling your crisis will soon be the last thing on any of the Knight’s minds.

A new resolve in his head, and a firm determination, he knew he could only keep his mind on one thing now. His test. After speaking with his mistress and Raine a while, he headed to solitude where he prayed to lunitari, and meditated deeply cleansing his mind of all the negative energy that has been building up over these last couple of days.
All that swam in his mind now were spell formulas, Arcane words, component correlations and visions of arms and hands making the necessary gestures required for spellcasting. Elraith was absolutely determined to dominate his test, stopping his preparations only to make ready his plans to steal his favorite ship in the port at the perfect time(which included packing his horse with all it could effectively carry, essential supplies like quill pens, ink, scrolls both blank and those he needed to scribe to his spellbook, and anything else he would need for the journey).

Changes By the DM
Coryn the White Witch of Palanthus walks along the Port in the early morning. She is rest and sure of her self, moving through the hard laborers and Dock workers going to and fro the Ships to the Warehouses and back again.
She enters a large Bar on the Docks called Zeboilm’s Rest. A local establishment where on would go to hire a crew and captain that are outside the law Knights as well as those that are out side the law in any sense of the world which now makes her a oddity here in her white robe, but she is not ashamed. Some times the means get you thru to the end.
He meets with Rogoth, the Dock Union representative that she has made an acquaintance sometime after she arrived to Palanthus.
“Ahh lady of the White, what horror it is to see you such a place as this.”
Almost on cue, somebody throws up violently on the 2nd floor and you hear it spatter on the floor, then some fighting breaking out.
“I am looking for a Captain and a Crew that you would hire to take you to New Ports.” Coryn says
“That I would want? Huh.” Rogoth smiles a knowing smile, “Ah shucks now darling, you know I would not sail you wrong, the Captain that you want is here, now. He has a partial crew, and could be paid to hire the rest, now, you ask only for the Captain and Crew, what of the Boat, you do need a boat . . . Right?”
“Well that beings us to the second part of my query… I need to speak with a good thief, that can put together a little crew to steal the ship we are hiring the Captain and Crew for.”
“Would’ve just been easier to make a ship, or maybe buy a ship, I mean this is a little crazy, even for you.” The un understanding Union rep flusters.
“Well, I know the owner of the ship you see, but we need to steal it for the owner to be completely honest to you.”
“You don’t really need to understand, all you need to do is hook me up with the people I asked for in the first place.
Rogoth eyes the White Witch with a unflattering rebuke in mind, but decides to swallow it down with a pint instead. He rises and holds his hand out. She hands him a purse filled with pearls and precious stones and he leaves without any further adieu.
You spend most of the day getting affairs settled; spending some time with your horse and making sure things are ready for your departure. You spend time with your studies.

"So it Begins"
By the DM
Lashia comes out and tells you that Coryn has secured a Captain and Crew, and the Theft of Ship will happen tomorrow night.
She gives you a book of 1-5 level spells that he might find helpful.
The next day, you have lunch with Raine, whom you have come to really be fond of. She shudders to even think of her test, you decide she is the first girl you have ever made a connection with.
You finish your meal and the two of you walk back to Coryn’s Mansion.
As you walk, twelve long blocks later, you spot someone in an alleyway up on your right.
All you need is a glance to tell that it is the face of the man you will never forget.
He smiles and disappears around the corner.

Elraith was relieved to hear that the plan was on, but at the same time, he gained the tenseness felt before a plan such as this goes into action. Upon recieving the spellbook from Lashia, Elraith told her, "Thanks to your guidance, i believe i will be ready for my test, the past few days have made me realize very quickly, that things don't always happen for the best, and I must always be prepared for the worst."
After enjoying lunch with Raine, he talked with her about spell formulas and certain rare components on the way back to Coryns mansion.. Then out of the corner of his eye, he saw the man that would haunt his memory until the end of time. He saw the man dart behind a corner after flashing an evil grin, and his eyes grew wide as he said, "Raine! that was him! the man that killed my parents, and almost me! We should get back to the mansion quickly, im not powerful enough to survive another encounter with him."

Equinox By the DM
The Bay of Branchala
Onto the Equinox, a three mast Galleon that was once your family’s ship and now it is so again.
Lashia is on board at amidships, and Solvern her Griffon mount is below in the hold. Longshot is at the bow of the ship, with the wind flickering thru his top knot as the Equinox clears the Gates of Paladine and out into open waters, heading northwest around Tanith.
Lashia brings Elraith to the stern castle to meet the Captain, Captain Boren Kane, a Dark skinned man, those that come from northern Ergoth and famed for their skills at sea. Over his left eye is an eye patch with a scar that emerges from above and below his patch. He has shaved his head bare, and is wear a black surrcoat that is billowing in the wind behind him. He looks you over for a moment and then shakes your hand.

Out on the Turbidus Ocean By the DM
Lashia points out a woman nearby and says she is the first mate, Alissa Getani of Saifhum. Over the next couple of hours, Lashia gives you a crash course of sailing since you never learned much from your father on the subject. Back then, you two spoke different languages.
Sailing Primer
Basics
The first, most obvious, feature of a sailing ship is that it is a ship. ie it is a box-like structure displacing enough water to float on the surface. This box is called the hull and is generally shaped in such a way as to make it easier to travel in one particular direction, which we call forward. Viewed from above, a ship moves forward most easily if the front tapers to a point. For this reason the front is usually referred to as the pointy end. This is a bit of a mouthful, so it has also come to be known as the bow, but ‘pointy end’ is still perfectly acceptable on most ships. The other end may be referred to as the blunt end, and you'll probably get away with it, but the generally accepted term is the stern. Moving toward the pointy end (while on the ship) is moving forward, and salty old sea dogs like to abbreviate that to forr'ard. 2 Moving towards the stern is moving aft. If you face forward then the side of the ship on your left is known as port, and the right hand side is starboard. 3 These names stay the same whichever direction you turn. If you are standing on the bow, facing aft, and walk forwards you are still walking aft. Walking forward in nautical-speak would mean stepping (backwards) off the bow into the water. Likewise port and starboard are fixed in relationship to the ship, not to the observer. Port is left if you are facing forward, and right if you are facing aft. The 'lid' of the box is the deck, and this word can be used to describe any horizontal, flat, surface on which we might normally stand. For instance, there is generally another 'level' inside the hull, between the deck and the cargo hold (place where you put the cargo), which is known as the 'tweendeck. 4
DM will send you any information the Player would like on the subject of sailing, all he has to do is let me know.
The Lighthouse at the edge of Tanith notes that soon the ship will be making a heading for west and come about once the ship has cleared the northern tip of Ansalon. The Lighthouse is operated by a newly installed Firekeeper of Sirrion.
When at last the great watchful flame is out of view and Ryx has gone past, you find yourself at the bow with the kender, enjoying a memory of when you traveled to New Ports on the Evening Star, two years ago. So much has changed now.
You look up to the star and stare with wonder up at the gods above in their constellation forms.
The Red Moon waxes as it moves across the sky, along with her brother Solinari and Nuitari is out there, somewhere, you feel you must pay homage to all of the brothers of magic, just out of respect and not to offend on this night of destiny.
Much later, exhausted you move below decks your private room, and climb into your hammock, and drift very easily to the lull of the sea.
A Day later,
You have come to be tempted to use your key of silence on the kender, just as the crew is making the kender walk the plank.
Lashia apologizes and tells the Crew they will be paid 50 steel more as a bonus per man for letting the Kender live on the remainder of the trip. That seems to make Captain Kane a little happier as the picture now moves behind the Equinox to another ship, from the Solamnic Navy.
The ships are both moving at 14 knots, but now they are catching up.

Showdown By the DM
At the bow of the Blue Horizon, Yori Granger of the Holy Order of Habbakuk prays to his god to grant the Blue Horizon haste in the Knight’s rightful mission.
Fire erupts behind the priest as the forward catapult is readied.
The command “fire!” is shouted
A flaming bale is catapulted over the aft of the Equinox.
All of this is being played out in the Eyeglasses of those at the stern castle of the Equinox.
Captain Kane tells Alissa to wet the sails.
Alissa moves instantly and jumps over the kender Longshot, who is on deck and going thru his pouches. She yells at the crew to wet the sails. The crew breaks formations and grabs pales at the ends long ropes and they are dropped into the water and brought up and thrown onto the sails to give them more substance to pick up more wind.

Whoooooosh! By the DM
It doesn’t help that much in the end, or maybe it does…
As the Navy ship moves up, a megaphone is brought out on the Blue Horizon and the Captain speaks, “Elraith Uth Nosten, I am Captain Lyndon Mer-Krel. I am charged by the Knight Commissioner of Palanthus, you and your ship will halt immediately, and come aboard into my custody and stand trail for the death of Rose Knight Calof Krejlgaard, and your parents Uth Nosten.”
“I found it!” is emitted from an excited kender at amidships.
He is holding a pouch or, bladder or some kind of…?
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHH!!!!!!
You feel your self taken off your feet as the lurches forward at 46 knots!
Thankfully no one is taken overboard but everyone is taken off their feet and forced to hold on for dear life.
Longshot is thrown into the stern castle, as above, Captain Kane and Hector Beck the wheelman hold the wheel and pray the masts will hold, but begins to really worry when the wind is not stopping?
