Talidaar 4/6/07
Talidaar has traveled the Elemental Planes over the last six Years, his consciousness stretching out and grasping what is beyond Krynn, taking your place among the Hierophants of old, it is as though you have always belonged here.
Of all that he has learned, he reflects a moment of the past. He had had lived a long and full life, married to women he loved infinitely, bringing five children into the world, railing against all enemies of Nature.
Other “Friends”, the Warrior, the Witch, the Kender, the Thief, the Death Knight. All memories that turned over and over in his head.
Talidaar was invited into the Ant Lord’s Burrow, in the Elemental Plane of Earth
He flew up to the Halls of the Sky at Azreb-Akul in the Elemental Plane of Air He then entered the scorching hot to the Efreet’s City of Brass in the Elemental Plane of Fire
Talidaar traveled to the watery depths to the Citadel of Ten-Thousand Pearls in the Elemental Plane of Water
Talidaar then met the Hierophants of the Ancient times. Asher, Lul, Zeppo, Ryes and Gorax.
Along with a couple of name that you remember being still uttered when you began your training when you were a boy.
Hesti, Regg, Sindi, and Janic
Talidaar attends great moots in the Primeval Forest of Zhan, meeting denizens, long forgotten by the Rivers of Time.
The meets depth and scope of all that has transpired since the Theft of the World to the War of Souls.
So much has happened in that time-
Talidaar think back to what his life was before, he weighs what he has learned against all that means most to him and makes a choice.
He knows his time has come and gone. And now others will shape Krynn to the Future, but it is now that Talidaar will find his champions, pick and chose the battles he will fight, and lend aid when the need is just.
Talidaar sometimes feels like he can see the mind of Chislev, as if he is receiving knowledge to what is on her mind.
The Elves in Khur, The Fallen Elven Nations The goings on in Hylo
He ponders all of this and then sets out to find some answers.

School of High Sorcery By the DM in consultation with David
New Ports,
Talidaar steps from an Oak Tree planted in the Glen of the School of High Sorcery in New Ports.
He walks inside and sees his beautiful wife Lashia.
The two reunite and talk to each other for the whole of the Night. They speak of the Twins with Wydara in Khur. They speak of Nebriss and Autumn and son Ander in Merwellyn. Talidaar and Lashia speak of their own twins, being raised by the Kagonesti in the Valley of Chislev.
Talidaar asks if Lashia knows much of what is going in the world.
Lashia speaks of her students here in New Ports, of word from the Conclave that they are looking to build two more Towers of High Sorcery. The current situation of the Elves are they are in a ancient glen, it is defendable and at the moment, the Khur Army is backed off. Porthios is back. I know, I know. You buried him, but Porthios said no, he was never in New Swamp, though he has vague memories such a place. Damara said as much she talked to him after he brought a small army of Rebels on Griffins from Qualinesti.
It turned the tide against the Khurians. Porthios is badly burned from head to toe, he is wrapped from head to toe in gauze, save for a mask he wears and a cloak to wrap up in. Alhana vouches for him, though she is as bewildered as Damara and you.
Talidaar tells Lashia of his plans and tell her he will be back in a couple of months, if not sooner. They spend the rest of the Night together.

Merwellyn
By the DM in consultation with David
The next Morning, Talidaar steps into the Oak he arrived from and travels via Plantwalk to Merwellyn. He steps from an Oak near the Glen of Kiria. He speaks to his first wife’s vallenwood with loving sweetness. He turns to see Kas standing there and comes foreword when Talidaar sees him. He is a giant of a Cat, standing at nearly six feet.
The two of you reacquaint to one another and soon he leads you on the path to Dae Dyrnastaerynfalos. The Wood is bouncing back from the destructive Storm that raged nearly six years ago. Tal is only too proud when he sees his son Nebris. Neb, Autumn and Ander came back to Merwellyn shortly after you left and he has tried to restore the forest, with Chislev’s blessings.
You both embrace and talk for a few minutes and walk up to the Fort.
Autumn is so beautiful, a Qualinesti elf of exotic features, you hug her with great love and next see your walking, smiling grandson coming to you.
Talidaar has Lunch with the family, spends time with daughter-in-law and grandson, before walking outside with Nebris and Kas. The tree walk and talk about the changes in the Wood. Animal life is low, returning more and more each day, but the Storm rocked Merwellyn so hard, it has been slow to rebuild.
Talidaar vows to change all of that.
He calls birds and mammals and woodland creatures to the Wood.
He learns more of then happenings of the wood and Nebris says he has gathered a Circle to defend the Wood made up of Druids of Chislev.
Liam and his son Conner is in the Circle, they are currently in Dunolisk.
Rangers live to the south in the Wood.
The Grand Druid Kaylyn Lifetree turned to combating Frost, the last remaining Overlord in Southern Ergoth.
The Fey have moved to Darken Wood, a Number remained behind and are rebuilding their domain.
Kas has mated and his kittens live near the Mountains.
After a tour of the hardest hit areas from the Storm, and regrowing part of the Forest, they return at Dusk for Supper. Tal plays with Ander for a good long while and when the boy is put to bed. He talks with Nebris and Autumn for a while before bidding them goodnight.
Tal goes to his room, his Lab, and his Library to gathers the things he seeks, and puts them in bags of holding.
He ponders some questions before going to bed in his own bed for the First Time in six years.

The World Tree By the DM in consultation with David

He lands near the Great Tree and turns back into his Half-Elven form, to the amazement of onlookers and Kender alike.
Talidaar calls to see if anyone knows the Druid Liam or the Son, Conner. A couple of boys know Conner. He go after him and Talidaar follows. Soon he is reunited with the Warrior-son of his assistant. Conner has grown up strong to be a Ranger of Chislev. They shake hands and Conner takes Talidaar to Liam. The two old friends hug each other tight for moments, and invites him in for breakfast.
Kender and kids have gather around Liam’s house to see if the great Druid Talidaar will turn into anything else.

Valley of Blue Sands By the DM
Talidaar’s way to Inath-Wakenti, or Valley of Blue Sands takes Five Days, because Tal has to avoid several Blue Dragons in the employ of the Knights of Neraka. Not wanting to clue the Dragon Knights in on where the Elves escaped to, he transforms into a small hawk and continues on the path northwest from Khur and searches out the Mythical Valley.
Soon he sees a flight of griffin riders up doing a patrol, Talidaar does not recognize them as being the Twins, and flies downward into the Valley.
The Desert is peeled away and forgotten as Talidaar flies into a verdant Forest, but gets a strange tingle thru his spine. Something is unnatural about this place.
Talidaar lands in a great tree, and watches, as the whole of the combined Elven Nations have gathered in this Haven and tried to rebuild shattered lives.
He jumps down from the tree and heads to the Blue lake. There he is greeted by elves of the Silvanesti and Qualinesti and Kagonesti, though, anymore, it is getting harder and harder to see a difference, in a way, that is good you believe.
Tal inquires as to where he could find the Sun Hawk barracks and that of General Damara Ambrodel. A Kagonesti boy leads the Hierophant to Griffin Stables and soon he is reunited with his Twin Daughters, who hug him so tightly.
He meets his nearly of age granddaughter Zara, who has come out to be with mom Marilee and her Aunt Las and has become quite a swordswoman and Las says beaming, that Zara has an aptitude for magic too.
Talidaar hugs tightly his sister Wydara, now a General in the Elven Army, and Lashia’s sister Damara. He holds them both very closely. For a man who never had much family, he has changed all of that. He has become the head of a great family.
They take him inside Marilee and Zara’s house, formed out of a tree.
They relate to Talidaar of the plight of the Elves and their home here in the Valley of Blue Sands.
Talidaar listens with sorrow and great pride of how his twins and sister helped during the trek from Khur. Talidaar spends this night with his Family.
Talidaar relates what he saw under the tree with his Twins. They both tell Talidaar of a Kender that is with them named Trippleknot Spellkracker that was at the Dragon Isles with them.
They go to bed.
The Next Morning, Talidaar and the Twins find Trip and they talk at the Ol’ Well Tavern.
Trip readily agrees to Take Talidaar to the Dragon Isles, and Tal and Trip shake on it. The Twins also agree to accompany Talidaar, he begs them off, but they insist, and Talidaar only says, it may come to that, we don’t know just yet.
Damara and Talidaar walk to the Speaker’s House and they confer for hours.
Talidaar, Las, Marilee and Zara walk into a Oaktree in the Forest and they are transported back to Merwellyn. It was agreed that the Twin’s Mounts will serve the War effort for the elves and are left behind. The Sun Hawks are to serve Damara and Wydara until the Twins can come and get them.

Talidaar departs Hylo, telling Longshot to have his group meet him in New Ports in Three weeks. Talidaar and Wren walk into the forest, Talidaar deep in thought. Talidaar walks to an mighty oak and bends down and retrieves a couple of oak leaves on the ground. He stores them away between the page of a Novel he has been reading.
He turns and takes Wrens hand and they into the Oak coming out in the Valley of the Blue Sands, in a grove, not far from the Elven Capital in exile.
Talidaar runs into a few overzealous Wildrunners, but they back off, and give you the way past.
You and Wren make your way to Damara’s tent to see if she is there, but no, then you walk to a common area and ask if a bar has opened up yet, and there has been, a pavilion tent, where some elves, particularly the military are drinking away elven sorrows. You see Damara and Palaines not too far in at a table, talking away.
