Aravis
Gateway,
Decisions, decisions…
You have just gotten through a “talk’ with Lucius as to what Zeva is planning in the near future and how it affects Lucius and thus you. She is headed back to Soreel, But Lucius is not going back with her. He has been given deeded land in Ergoth, includes a Keep and many acres of land. Lucius is to represent Zeva in Ergoth and set up a spy net that is to extend across Ansalon with a Imperial Spymaster named Drex.
As to how this effects you, well….that is what you are deciding at the moment.
Being “dead” and “resurrected” as certainly thrown perspective all out of whack.
So what to do?

"Lucius dear, I feel the need for a walk. I'll be back in a bit," Aravis says.
He barely looks up from the papers on his desk, saying "Alright. I'll see you this evening."
Aravis leaves the room and walks downstairs and out of the building. They can say that it isn't a palace all they want, but the Soreelians aren't going to build anything less for Zeva, even if it is only a temporary home, Aravis thinks as she looks back on the building.
Walking through the courtyard and past the guards at the gate, Aravis enters the town that has sprung up around the Imperial Headquarters in the past two years.
Two years, she thinks. It seems more like two hundred. Passing a shop in the market district, Aravis sees her face reflected in a mirror and stops to look.
Over the years, the girl who once looked a virtual twin to her mother has grown into her own woman. Now standing over 5'6", with long curls of reddish-blone hair that blazes in the sunlight. Gone (for now) are the robes of her order, replaced by the Imperial ladies-in-waiting with silken dresses with far too much decoration for Aravis' tastes. She drew the line at the ferronneire, though. The ladies thought it inappropriate, but Aravis explained that it was a gift from her mother and a sacred emblem of her god, and finally they relented. Its obsidian circle seems to absorb light near it, darkening her face somewhat and making her somewhat less noticable, though not truly invisible. Tucked away in the hidden folds of her dress are a few minor spell components. I passed my Test. I am a wizard, after all.
Aravis walks the town aimlessly, eventually finding herself on a street lined with taverns and inns. Wherever one finds soldiers, Aravis muses to herself, one finds bars. Not thinking about the fact that she is an unaccompanied civilian female on a military base, she walks into the closest bar that doesn't currently sound like a war has broken out inside of, and finds herself a seat.

Meeting By the DM
Aravis walks into the Dying Goblin Tavern and walk past the bar toward a table, when she sees the Bartender point at her and Eolise talking to him.
DM Note: Real-Time Session moved to the Aravis Archive to save on space, can be referenced there. Great Job by the way!

Home By the DM
Talron leaves the bar, leaving you by yourself in a sea of people drinking, talking and eating.
You feel alone, if but only for a moment. Aravis walks from the bar, not knowing where she will go, but something is on the other side of that door.
She opens the door to find a Black as Night landscape, and she knows she has come home.

Aravis peers through the doorway, then glances around to make sure no one else is paying particular attention to her. Assured, she mutters a brief prayer of thanks and steps through, closing the door behind her.

Dark God Revealed By the DM
Aravis steps out thru the threshold to meet her destiny. Black Basalt stone lay beneath her feet, in the distance there is a violent volcanic display, spouting fiery ash and lava. It is hot here, though, not uncomfortably now, seconds after you got here.
Standing in the distance, though moving towards you, but it seems to be floating above the ground as his legs are not moving.
He is dressed in pure black robes, and he removes his hood. His face is pale, he has medium length black hair. He is handsome, some might say dashing.
The door closes behind you and he now come within 5 feet of you.
You know it is. You can see Krynn floating by in the sky, you know where you are.
“Daughter.”

"Father?" Aravis says with a hint a a question in her voice. All the years and her mother never told her. Maybe she didn't really know. And now, the truth.
By way of reassuring herself, Aravis asks, "Where are we?"

Cliff Notes Collecting conversation between Aravis and Nuitari. By the DM and Adam
Nuitari confirms to Aravis that he is her father. They speak on the realignment of the Evil Pantheon and how the sides are divided.
He confirms to Aravis that Mina is a God of light that was corrupted to Darkness by Takhisis. It is unknown what Mina is doing now.
Nuitari has plans to win Sargonnas to become an ally, not to be fully trusted, but to use honor against the God of Vengeance and manipulate the Dark Gods forces to the whims of Nuitari. Aravis must go to Minotaur occupied Silvanesti and forge an alliance with the followers of Sargonnas and try to gain recruits and show the Minotaurs that Dark Magic can be used beneficially to aid in victory.
Talron Darkblade is chosen to accompany Aravis on her mission. The game picks back up with Aravis returning to Gateway.

The Gates of Dawn By the DM
Gateway,
Aravis sees Lucius in their room and have a talk. He listens to her speak, and find understanding, even if he is scared and worried for her safety. But in the end, he has always known that this would happen and though he knows Aravis hates to be pampered and treated like a Princess, he is happy of the time they have gotten to spend together. They share a final night together, making Aravis wonder what the future will be like.
She wakes the next morning, just before dawn, Lucius has a big breakfast ready for her. She does a final check of the things her things that she might need and after a final kiss and gazing into each others eyes, Aravis departs from Gateway with a Ring of Teleportation.
Aravis arrives outside the Roaring Griffon, and enters the bar to find Talron Darkblade just finishing a plate of pancakes.

Seeing Aravis, Talron will push out the chair next to him, and waive for the barwench to come to his table. Pouring himself another glass of sweatwater, he will motion for Aravis to sit, and wait for her to order. Once done, and the barwench goes to get what Aravis wants he will look at Aravis. "So" he says, smiling a bit sideways, "looks as if you were right on that whole if I need you again, you'll find me, and I'll already know it thing. Let's try not to make a habit of you always being right, shall we?"

The Roaring Griffon Inn By the DM
Aravis and Talron have breakfast and talk about the mission to come. A Dockhand comes running in the Inn and yells there is a Dragon outside asking for an Aravis Dragonbane.

"A dragon? How very odd," Aravis says, arching her left eyebrow. "Did this...'dragon' happen to say what its business with me was, or does it merely wish tochat and catch up on old times?"

Dragon By the DM
“Aravis Dragonbane,” comes a loud, but feminine voice. By this time, villagers are running away for their lives while the Wolverine troops are on full alert, readying A/D war wagon batteries.
“I have been sent here to take you to Silvanesti”

Grinning slightly, Aravis turns to Talron and says, "Looks like our ride is here. Guess I won't need to go shoe shopping before we go, after all." Standing, she and Talron head for the door.

Nightshade By the DM
Aravis and Talron go outside New Ports’s gates, past the armed Wolverines. The Black looks at the Wolverines and yawns and looks down at you as you approach.
“Greetings to you Dragonbane, you may call me Nightshade, I am to serve you until Nuitari says otherwise.
The Black Dragon kneels down, to allow you better access to climb on her back.

Climbing on the dragon's back and getting settled, Aravis will ask the dragon, "Since Father has sent you to carry me, I suppose you know where it is I am to go, correct?"

Answer and Flight By the DM
“Indeed mistress, to the lands of Silvanesti, I know only that that the elves have been run out and that minotaurs have taken it over. A joyous happening, if I may say so.”
Once you are on, she leaps to the sky with her powerful wings, she heads towards the east, across the Plains of Dust.

Ah . . . By the DM
“I have already thought of this, I can assume a Dark Elf form, the Minotaurs only have to believe I am a Black Robe Dark Elf, nothing more.”
Even so, Nightshade lands outside the Occupied Forest, to figure out the game plan.

Smirking, Talron will look at them both. "And three elves strolling through the forest will look like an advanced scouting party. You "he continues, pointing at Aravis "my dear have quite the job ahead of you. This will not be an easy task, and I have an uneasy feeling that blood might be shead before we find any "walking Steaks" that will be willing to listen to what you are here for."

Looking at Talron, Aravis returns the smirk. "And you, my friend, still have much to learn of faith." Withdrawing a map of the area from her pack, she will turn to Nightshade. "About where are we now? I would like us to make our way to the nearest decently-sized town to feel out the situation before we make our way to Silvanost."

Nightshade lands and waits for you to get off, before enacting a changing spell, and becoming a very exotic looking Dark Elf, with Drow-like features, but she has reptilian yellow eyes.
The City of Morning Dew is a battle hardened fort, manned by Legionnaires of Steel and war weary elves, with eyes on Home, nearby Silvanesti. This is a couple of Bars, where off duty troops can find it easier to dream of being somewhere else.
The Wayward Inn serves its purposes, the trio enters.
They are served drinks by a homely human girl, about sixteen years old. She takes your orders for food and she departs and enters the kitchen.
You take stock of your surroundings, Rangers, Wildrunner Elves, and off duty Legionaries. A few merchants fill out the room.
