First Granitehammer Post 2002-2003?
Dougan Graitehammer, Response Act 2, Part 2
(Colonel General Dougan Granitehammer, 2nd Army Group Commander, is a middle-aged dwarf, about 3'9" and 160 pounds of pure mean. Grey haired before his time, and steel grey eyes give him a stony, grim look. His short stature belies his elaborate tactical and strategic designs. He wears the grey uniform of the Wolverines, with rank and unit insignia on his lapels and an enormous warhammer at his side. In battle he wears a set of blackened Dwarven Plate Mail. He is gruff, short-spoken, and to the point, and something of a braggart when it comes to what his unit can accomplish)
General, with all due respect to my colleague with the air troops, ma'am, I can have Gateway City neutralized in 24 hours if you give me 2nd Armored Regiment and the authority to do what needs to be done. Gimme the 1st and 2nd Regiments, and some artillery and air support from Max's boys, and I can have the road to Haven and Gateway City cleared out in a week, and then we can move the rest of 1st Armored Division down to secure our position and keep those damned goblins out of our knickers.
Of course, all of this runs the risk of drawing unwanted attention from Beryl, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not in any kind of mood to watch dragons gas my men.
Worst case, we get pushed back into Darken Wood, set up a perimeter, and hunker down for the winter. Those bastards'll think twice about crossing the line first time they start taking fire from my warwagons.
That's how I see things, General.
Wolvie to Zeva (At the War Meeting)
"I like this guy Zev, He speaks my language."
