1st Air Force Regiment
The pride of General Hjortarian’s Air Force. These 3000 soldiers are the best, of the best, of the best. (Sir!) They are the elite, and the General always flies with 1st regiment.
Consists of 5000 personnel, broken down as follows: Five Squadrons, each 1000 strong, coded as Call Names. Each Squadron consists of five Troops coded by Bird of Prey, each 200 strong. Each Troop is comprised of five Wings, each 40 strong, coded by metal. Thus, a given soldier from the 1st regiment, when asked his designation, might say “Point, Sky Raiders, Eagle Gold Wing.” As will be seen in the breakdown below:
Sky Raiders (1000)
Hawk (200)
Gold (40)

Steel
Eagle (200)

Just so I don’t waste unnessassary space, the Troop and Wing designations are standard through out each Squadron. Instead I will simply list the remaining four Squadrons:

Night Stalkers
Special Air Forces

Special Qualities: Natural flight, sense others by heat (as a snake)

Abilities: Str: 26 Int: 10 Dex: 20 Con: 21
Climate/Terrain: Jungle/Wetlands/Swamp

Ptarron are huge, winged reptilian creatures, 30 feet from nose to tail and a 35 wingspan. They resemble Ptaradactiles, but their beaks are much shorter, more curved like an eagle. They are the primary mount of the 1st Airborne.
Standard flight crew of two, a pilot and a weapons officer.
Double saddle rig includes two sets of saddle bags, one immeadiatly in front of the Weapons officer, and one just behind. The rear saddle bags hold supplies for the two riders, the front contain a variety of projectile weapons; typically rocks, lead shot for slings, ceramic pots of oil, and glass flasks of Greek fire.
